            Well as the new year begins so does a new chapter in the web site. The last year was a challenging one for both the Social and Angling members alike, but here we are creeping into 2008 with renewed faith that the next 12 months will carry lots of fish and Social activities for us all.

           With the changing climate and social habits of our members it is also time for new ideas, a time to push into the future with a renewed vigor, and supportiveness for the club, bring your friends out for a night out, come and use the club after all it is a club built by the members for the members. 

            Is there anything quite like getting down the club before daybreak and getting ready to launch for a days fishing, will this be the trip where you catch that big fish, or just eat one too many bacon rolls, the possibilities are endless but you arrive on the beach knowing there will be a group of members willing to help and give you any advice you need to make sure whatever you do for the day, you will have a good time.

            Oh and don't forget all those great bands and events booked for the coming year including poker nights, auction nights, and bingo to mention a few, and the catering staff who I would like to thank personally for those many hot meals they have lovingly prepared for me a bargain prices and who always have a worm greeting for all the members, and the bar staff and helpers who have seen us through this past year. I'm sure you will all join me in making 2008 an outstanding year both for new and old members alike. Last but not least lets not forget the new admin officer Steve & committees who's time, unrelenting support and efforts, keep the club going in the background.
